Community Mediation Assistant

Volunteer Position Description
​
The Community Mediation Assistant supports the SEEDS Community Mediation Program. In collaboration with the Mediation Case Supervisor and Case Developer Volunteer team, the Community Mediation Assistant helps to support, educate, and prepare community members seeking conflict resolution services, coordinate logistics of mediations and conflict coaching, and perform other tasks and projects to improve SEEDS Community Programs.

Qualification: Knowledge of and experience in mediation, conflict resolution, and/or restorative justice.

This unpaid apprenticeship/internship is approximately 12 -15 hours/week for 3 -6 months. This role is currently remote and requires access to reliable wifi and a desktop or laptop.

This opportunity is eligible for special access to SEEDS trainings and learning opportunities as determined collaboratively with SEEDS staff!
​
Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English

Social Media Volunteer

Volunteer Position Description
​
The Social Media Volunteer assists with the design and execution of social media campaigns. This volunteer supports the communications plan and contributes to social media editorial calendars. This volunteer position is highly collaborative and supports volunteer creativity & learning.

Qualification:

Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn

Experience using and implementing Canva as a design software tool

This unpaid volunteer position/apprenticeship is approximately 5 hours/week for 3 or more months. This role is currently remote and requires access to reliable wifi and a desktop laptop.​
